(ok this is a free set up rp not based on anyhting except like knowledge of D&D...f.y.i if you don't know D&D that's fine...)
Every year in the land of Dragon Valley they have a contest of the villagers to find the next crowned ruler of Dracan Castle.
King Michael: Today is the start of our annual contest...all the villagers who wish to try out for ruler sign up on our clip board if you are willing to risk through the dangers of the valley...tomorrow I will call those listed ppl out to talk about the rules and the prizes for the competition...See those of you that join tomorrow at noon...

A young woman, of about nineteen years of age, dressed in a pheasent's dress, stepped foreward. She ignored the sblack personing of all the men, and her dark-red hair blew in the wind as she answered their kind king.
"I will compete, Gracious King Michael." He only smiled a kind smile, and nodded.
"Prove all these men wrong, my loyal subject." He whispered in her ear as she signed her name on the clipboard.
"I will do my best to, King Michael."

"i don't think so." a man in desart clothing with a white cape on,a red lion on the back of the cape. "well well,soon i will have the honor of killing you Michael. and the rest of your kingdom as well." the man said,2 knights,2 Dragoons,and 3 mages at his side.

Sakura rolled her eyes, knowing it was the man with the wildest fantasy of becoming King, and making her his queen to be serving on him, hand and foot, while HE made all the decisions.

the man just stood there as the kings knights charged at him,but then cut them down,with his powerful troops. someone had to take a stand. but no one moved. they were to scared to even move. "i'm done here." the man said,but someone was at the kingdoms monastery. he was known as a temple knight. and served the kingdom but the only one who knew him was sakura.

Sakura excused herself from the circle, and went to the ministry to meet him there. She somehow felt his want to talk to her....She really hoped that he wouln't propose to her, again...

"No, he's..." A wave of sadness enveloped her. "...dead. And I have already aquired all the skills that he had with a sword...so, now I will stop him, and protect the king..." With that, Sakura left, and went back to her little cottage where flowers were abundant, and got into her pheasent pants, shirt, and shoes, sheathing the sword to her back, and putting the flute into her belt, ready for some action. She would become the next queen, she thought.

*with all that happened King Michael retired to his castle and after a good dinner...retired to his room to sleep*
(meanwhile)
*A tall half-elf woman dressed in a white robe and white travelling boots walked up to sign the board* I know this competition will be easy...King Micheal always does a search for the gold dragon...king of all dragons...*smiles and steals off into the night*

It was a moonlit night by the peaceful stream, located in the most center of the forest, and Sakura was usually there, sitting on the large boulder, gently blowing a sad, unusual melody that made one want to stop in their tracks, just to see who was playing such a melody. But, now...she played a haunting melody, the one she had always played before a battle. She not only played it for luck and tradition, but she played it with deep feeling and sorrow that came from only her heart that had been crushed so many times before....
She wanted to build a house there, and live in that spot by the stream for the rest of her days, and she knew, somehow, that she eventully would.

*Isheatsu walks over to her coming out from behind the brush, she'd known Sakura since they were little and even though she was elf, Sukura always accepted her and always watched out for her, they'd always had each others back so she wanted to wish her luck in the competition*
Hey Sukara I never get tired of hearing that song...it's so dark but beautiful at the same time...is everything ok my sweet?

Sakura sighed as she put down her flute. She was having the hardest time getting over the man that she had given her heart to in the summer...he had made some stupid excuse about he having to go to his dying father (who was actually just fine, and planting seeds when she had come by to visit a couple of days later), but she found out that he had broke up with her because she wouldn't sleep with him, and he had found a different girl to fool around with. She was still emotionally drained, having planned this spot for the two of them to live on for the rest of their days together. She had trained herself to put up her wall, not letting anyone through, except her two friends could only break through to find a place in. Inutssu knew all of Sakura's tricks, and Sakura could NEVER keep anything from her.
"I was just thinking about my future, Inutssu." Sakura said with a sigh. She wondered if she would ever love again...

*Isheatsu walks over and sits beside her putting a comforting arm around her* You know very well that you will eventually find someone I have seen your future and it is bright, but right now you don't need a man holding you down...but when the time is right he'll be there as long as you stay true to your heart and stand tall...*she smiles and brushes her hand across her cheek then moves her hand back to her lap*Oh that reminds me are you ready for the competition tomorrow?
